At the bottom of this email, you’ll find the ‘What to drink’ section. Every month, I tell you which bottle I’d open!

In the vineyard: A BREATH 


We’re in the phase of vegetative rest: the leaves are falling and the vineyard is taking a break after some intense months. In Civine, the cold has already stripped the vines bare. Now we wait, before heading back into the rows for winter pruning, a delicate task that sets the stage for the season ahead.

In the meantime, in Gussago, we keep exploring. We’ve started a new path in Navezze, where we’ll be planting a new vineyard. Every micro-area has a story to tell, and Navezze, with time, will find its own voice.

Looking ahead to December, in the winery we’re getting ready for:

A full day dedicated to single-vineyard tasting, sampling together in preview the new releases: Parcellare 151 Pinot Noir ‘Campiani Est’ and Parcellare 479 Chardonnay ‘Campiani Ovest’.

I had it in Rome just the other day… and it was expressive, full-bodied.
You could taste all the layers of the reserve winemaking, along with those subtle oxidative notes, with hints of honey and citrus.
A very, very, very enjoyable bottle, and it’ll be one of the stars at this year’s Gatta’s Première!
